Project management¶
Scalesta's server panel management (SPM) allows you to organise your servers into groups by separating them by projects. By default, you have only the "Main" project, which contains all your servers. For example, you can separate Production and Development servers up to different groups.
Project list page¶
Creating project¶
To create a new project, click the "Create project" button, enter a title, and confirm. Project titles must be unique.
Transfer servers between projects¶
You can transfer your servers between projects to group them in the most convenient way.
To transfer a server, click the button with the "switch" icon at the top of the project card, select the server you want to transfer, choose the target project, and confirm your choice.
Your server configuration won't be changed during transfer, and you will be able to open and manage server immediately.
Delete project¶
If you no longer need a project, you can delete it using the button at the top of the project card. However, the "Main" project cannot be deleted. All servers from the deleted project will automatically be transferred to the "Main" project. To delete a project, click the button on the project card and confirm the deletion.
Open server settings¶
You can open some of your servers directly from the project list page. To do so, just click the server name. Only paid and created servers can be opened. These servers are marked with a green line to the left of their domain names and a settings icon on the right side.
By default, only the first four servers are displayed. To see more, click the "Details" button.
Project details page¶
Project details page contains the full list of your servers, which could be filtered by state and tariff and searched by domain name.
The following server states are displayed on this page:
- Ordered: The server is not paid and has not been created yet.
- Creating: The server is paid but not created yet.
- Paid: The server is paid, created, and ready to use.
- Stopped: The server is created, but payment has expired.
- Failed: The server is paid, but an issue occurred during creation, and the problem is being fixed.
- Estimating: This is a special state for site migrations. It indicates that a migration has been requested but has not yet been estimated, paid for, or created.
Server creation¶
To create a new server in a project section, click the "Order" button. After that, you will see the order server page. You can read more about server creation here.
